TD Bank employees are speaking out in what they say is “incredible pressure” to earn profits from customers by signing them up for unnecessary services and products.
Longtime employees liken the tactics to those of used car salesmen, pushed to up-sell customers and reach rising sale revenue targets. Some employees admit to breaking the law, and claim they are desperate to reach monthly sales goals or risk termination.
