LITTLE ROCK — The Little Rock Police Department has released new dashcam video of the pursuit and standoff between a man and Little police that occurred on Dec. 19.

According to police, 43-year-old Farris Deloney fired shots in a West Little Rock Walmart parking lot after arguing with his girlfriend.

Then he drove off with their one-year-old baby.

Police chased Deloney to Crystal Hill Road.

As officers approached his vehicle, he threatened to kill himself.

Minutes later, police were able to get the baby out of the car and Deloney surrendered to police.

He was arrested and charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor.

Police say Deloney has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
